Handmade Sidewalk Chalk

Now this is definetly a tutorial I would love to try with my girls. During the Spring and Summer (and even into Fall) we go through tons of sidewalk chalk. The girls always said that the mail man needed something pretty to look at when he delivered our mail.

Cute Little Doll for your Little One

The other day I was watching Martha Stewart and she had on Emily Martin from Inside a Black Apple making the cutest most sweetest doll. After downloading the pattern, my youngest and I went up to my craft room to get to work. L. helped me pick out the fabric (and also helped me sewing a little bit of it) then she also helped me stuff the doll.

Also, this past weekend the girls and I colored eggs. We had alot of fun and managed to not make too big of a mess. On a side note, never leave the 3 year old alone with the egg dye even for a second to help your 7 year old.

On another side note, those wire things that come with the kit, never seem to work for me and I managed to get nice blue fingertips.

This is a little project that I've had on my mind for quite sometime now. I love to inspire my kids to craft and use their imagination to interpret how they view the world around them.

Whether it's coloring a simple picture or building a fort out of a quilt, dining room chairs, and pillows, kids have a very strong imagination. They have so much creative energy and this blog will be dedicated to the creativeness my girls have.

I'll try to post links to kid related projects. Whether is a project that you yourself can make for your child or a project you can work on with your child. Either way, I hope you will enjoy!
